Food Grade Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) is an alkaline leavening agent widely used in bakery, confectionery, beverages, and food products. When combined with an acid ingredient it releases CO₂ to leaven baked goods. Also used as a pH regulator, mild abrasive in oral care, and alkalising agent in food and beverage products.
